Dear Friend:

Welcome to the Josiah Gorgas Camp's home on the web. This site helps educate visitors on our symbols and heritage and provides a way for you to contact us. It helps make our presence known to interested folks who miss us in person at events. For Camp members, this site will do more for you than you might expect. It is not only a source of information about Camp events through the calendar, but your connection to this Camp even when you cannot be with it in person. In the members area, you can read meeting minutes, post your thoughts and ideas to share with other members and, when applicable, cast your vote on Camp issues.

I encourage you to take some time to explore our site. If you are not already a member, I invite you to join. In the "Contact Us" section of the site you will find information on how to join us. Membership in the International Organization of the Sons of Confederate Veterans is limited to the male descendants, age 12 or older, of those who faithfully served the Confederate service. However, any ladies, gentlemen or children who share an interest in Confederate history and heritage are welcome to become a Friend of the Camp...and we'd be glad to have you.
